The Burgdorf Asparagus Run will take place on October 4, 2025, and invites hobby runners of all ages. The start times are at 2:00 PM for the children's race over 660 m (2 laps of 330 m) for participants born in 2012 and younger, followed by the main races at 2:20 PM with a 2,500 m run (born in 2017 and older), a 5,000 m run (born in 2015 and older), a 10,000 m run (born in 2013 and older), as well as Nordic walking over 5,000 m. The route leads from the Aue Bridge along Poststraße, Schlossstraße, Mühlenstraße, Lönsweg, past the castle, Rathaus II, Schlosspark, Stadtpark, and back to the Aue Bridge.
